As a child, I couldn't wait for being old enough to go to school. Well, school itself turned out to be one huge letdown but it provided me with a skill that should change everything: reading. As soon as my reading skills were good enough for books, I read everything I could get ahold of. Today I still spend a lot of my time reading, be it books, magazines or Wikipedia articles on stuff like gravitiy anomalies, priories or animals.
When I changed this blog from being on cycling only to an "all things I care about" blog, it seemed logical to add a "current read" category in the sidebar. I never really kept it updated so I removed it again and now its back.
While reading has always been important to me writing about it has never been easy for me. But keeping literature out of this blog doesn't really make sense to me. So there'll be a post about George Pelecanos up until sunday and more to follow. I'll try to keep the Nightstand updated. Sometimes posts about books shown there will follow, sometimes they won't.
